I have been singing formally since the age of four. I have been through the highs and lows of musical education, practice, and performance. As a classically trained singer turned vocal coach, it took me many decades to master my voice and be able to translate the work into actionable lessons, with real results.

What I learned is that music is fundamentally a place of artistry and joy, and our voices are a unique instrument to transmit that signal, both internally and to our audience. We should follow a process that enhances both control of our instrument and freedom of the voice.
