Kate Wand Vocal Studio
Private coaching is for singers who are highly committed, have clear goals in mind, and are ready to do what’s necessary to reach them. Spots are limited and reserved for students who will show up consistently and put in the work between sessions.
New students come to weekly coaching through the Pro Voice Analysis Plus: two videos (my analysis of your recording, and exercises tailored to your voice), plus two live 1:1 sessions with me. By the time weekly coaching starts, I already know your voice and you already know how I work.
I select my weekly students from my Analysis Plus clients, based on fit, commitment and whether a weekly slot is open. Purchasing an Analysis Plus is not a guarantee of ongoing coaching beyond the two sessions it includes. If we don’t continue, those two sessions are still yours, and nothing further is owed in either direction.
Weekly coaching begins with your first session. You choose your billing rhythm, and that date becomes your recurring billing date. A card on file is required before your first session is confirmed.
Weekly Coaching is a monthly package of 4 lessons, one per week at a time held for you, at $480 a month ($120 per lesson). It is charged automatically on your enrollment date each month: the same date you started, every month. No invoices, no action needed on your end.
Your rate is locked for as long as your subscription stays active, including a pause we’ve agreed. If you leave and come back later, the rate of the day applies.
Prefer to pay as you go? Lessons can also be billed weekly at $150 each, or bought as a pack of four. Neither carries a minimum, and a pack counts as your first month if you continue directly onto Weekly Coaching. Every rhythm auto-charges the card on file. All prices are in USD; applicable sales tax is added where required.
Weekly Coaching is offered with a 3-month minimum commitment, which you confirm in writing when we start. This gives us the time needed to do meaningful work together: vocal development requires consistency, and results compound over weeks. After the initial 3 months, your subscription continues month-to-month until you choose to pause or cancel.
For those who prefer fixed scheduling, your recurring time slot is scheduled by me and reserved exclusively for you each week. For those who prefer flex scheduling, you can book your weekly sessions via the Calendly link provided — it is recommended to book at least a month in advance. You can alter existing slots as needed, as long as it is 24 hours in advance of the tentative booking.
If you need to reschedule, you can do so more than 24 hours before the lesson through Calendly. Your slot is held as long as your membership is active — billing failure or cancellation releases it to the waitlist.
Some months have five of your lesson day. In those months the fifth lesson is used for a credit you’re owed, if you have one. If you don’t, it’s a bonus lesson, and if you can’t make it, it becomes a credit.
24+ hours notice you receive one lesson credit toward a future session.
Less than 24 hours notice the lesson is forfeited.
No-shows the lesson is forfeited.
Illness or genuine emergency with less than 24 hours notice may qualify for a credit once per 6-month period, at my discretion, provided you notify me before the lesson starts.
A credit is a replacement lesson, not a refund. Credits must be used within six months of issue and are subject to availability. On Weekly Coaching, unused credits end when your subscription ends. If no mutually available time exists within that window, we’ll do our best to find a solution: credits don’t expire due to my unavailability.
In your 12th lesson we look back at where you started: you sing the song and exercises from your analysis again (or from your first lesson, if you came to me directly), and I compare them with your original recording and our first lessons. A written report follows, with what has changed and where we’ll focus next.
If I need to cancel a lesson, you may choose either a credit or a refund for that session, no questions asked.
Life happens. If you need to pause or end lessons after your initial commitment period, give me 7 days notice before your next billing date and no further charge will be made. Cancellations mid-cycle are not refunded for that month’s remaining lessons.
To get the most from your sessions, you’ll need:
Not sure about your setup? I’m happy to advise on equipment before we start.
If your setup consistently prevents effective coaching, we may need to pause until it’s resolved.
